Who We Are

We started with a belief.
That hope is not enough
you have to build it.

CHYCF was founded on the conviction that communities don't need pity — they need skills, advocacy, and someone who truly believes in their capacity to rise.

How We Began

A community that trusts you is built slowly, honestly.

Credible Hope for Youth and Charity Foundation (CHYCF) is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious humanitarian organisation established to promote youth development, social inclusion, community empowerment, and sustainable humanitarian interventions across Nigeria and beyond.

The Foundation was incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria on 5 February 2026, with a team of philanthropic-minded individuals whose singular goal is to lift, educate, and provide basic empowerment programmes for development — starting in Kaduna North, Kaduna State, and expanding nationwide.

We are driven by a strong commitment to restoring hope, dignity, and opportunities to youths, vulnerable populations, and people living with disabilities — through structured programmes, advocacy, strategic partnerships, and community-based initiatives. Today, CHYCF operates across Nigeria with state chapters, local government committees, and a national executive committed to making inclusion the norm, not the exception.

Core Values

What we believe.

01

Integrity

Transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in all activities. We hold ourselves to the same standard we ask of the world.

02

Inclusiveness

Equal opportunities regardless of gender, disability, ethnicity, or background. Inclusion is not an add-on — it is the mission itself.

03

Service

Commitment to humanitarian service and community impact. We serve not to be seen, but because it is right and necessary.

04

Excellence

Professionalism and high standards in programme delivery. The communities we serve deserve nothing less than our best work.

05

Collaboration

Partnership with government, private sector, and civil society. We know that no single organisation can solve what communities face alone.

06

Compassion

Empathy and respect for human dignity. Every person we work with carries a story — we approach it with care, not condescension.

Our Work in Detail

What we actually do.

Youth skills training and empowerment workshop

Youth Development & Empowerment

Our youth development programmes deliver leadership and civic education, entrepreneurship training, digital and ICT skills, vocational training, and mentorship to young Nigerians. We partner with enterprises and institutions to open real economic pathways — not just certificates. When a young person walks out of our programme, they carry a plan, not just a skill.

Programmes include: Entrepreneurship Bootcamps · Digital Skills Training · Vocational Workshops

Humanitarian & Social Welfare

We provide direct support for vulnerable families, run emergency relief programmes during crises, and deliver community health awareness campaigns. Our humanitarian work is guided by the principle that dignity is non-negotiable — no matter who you are or how little you have. We show up, and we stay until it's better.

Programmes include: Emergency Relief Outreach · Health Awareness Campaigns · Family Support Initiatives
Humanitarian outreach and community support
Disability inclusion and advocacy programme

Disability Inclusion & Advocacy

CHYCF advocates for inclusive policies, builds capacity for persons with disabilities, and drives public awareness around accessibility. We believe that a society where persons with disabilities are excluded is a society operating below its potential. Our inclusion work challenges barriers — physical, legal, and attitudinal — at every level.

Programmes include: Inclusive Policy Advocacy · Capacity Building for PWDs · Accessibility Awareness

Education & Capacity Building

We run educational support programmes, workshops, seminars, and literacy initiatives for children, women, and community members who have been denied consistent access to learning. Our goal is not just to educate but to build the long-term capacity of individuals and communities to drive their own development.

Programmes include: School Support · Literacy Initiatives · Community Workshops & Seminars
Education and capacity building programme
Governance, peace and advocacy forum

Governance, Peace & Advocacy

We engage citizens on civic responsibilities, facilitate policy advocacy and stakeholder dialogue, and implement community peacebuilding initiatives. Stable communities require more than resources — they require structures of accountability and trust. CHYCF works at that intersection, connecting grassroots voices to the policy tables that shape their lives.

Programmes include: Civic Engagement Drives · Stakeholder Dialogue · Peace & Reconciliation Initiatives
HIV sensitization and community health awareness

HIV Sensitization & Support

CHYCF runs targeted awareness campaigns to reduce HIV stigma, promote testing, and educate communities on prevention and treatment access. Beyond sensitization, we provide direct aid and welfare support to individuals living with HIV — ensuring they receive the dignity, resources, and care they deserve. No one facing this challenge should face it alone.

Programmes include: Community Sensitization Campaigns · Stigma Reduction Workshops · Direct Aid & Welfare Support · Referral to Health Services
